Registering and Entering Property Information FAQ
1. How do I register?
Under the three photos on the home page is a box that says “Sign Up, Sell Now” After you ‘click’ on that you will be taken to a registration page.
2. Do I put the address of the property I want to sell or where I am currently living?
On the first page you put your current information. This is what investors will use to contact you if they are interested in your property.
3. Why do I have to put the ‘code’ at the bottom and what if I‘m not sure what the letters and numbers are and I get it wrong?
Entering the code is a way of helping to protect your privacy. If you don’t get it right the first time you will get as many chances as you need. Each time you try the code changes. It doesn’t matter how many times it takes.
4. What if I forget my username and password?
You should write down your username and password. We can tell you your username if you forget, but we do not keep your password on file. If you forget the password there is a place to get password help in the log-in section at the top right hand corner of the home page.
5. Where do I enter the property information?
After you register and successfully enter the code and hit ‘submit’ you will be taken to a page that says “Add New Property Listing.” ‘Click’ on that button and you will go to the page to enter the property.
6. I don’t know all of the information they ask for on this page. Do I have to fill in everything?
No. You only have to fill in the blanks that have the red “dot” in them.
7. Where can I add other information that I would like a potential buyer to know… something like the house has been gutted and cleaned out?
If you will scroll down the page, there is a box called “Additional Comments and/or Reason for Selling on the right.” You can enter anything you want to say about the house that is not covered in the fill-in-the-blank section.
8. Where do I see the terms and conditions I am agreeing to?
‘Click’ on the words “terms and conditions” and you will be taken to that page. After you have looked them over you ‘click’ on the red “X” in the top right hand corner of the page. That will take you back to the property information page.
9. Can I see the other houses listed on the site?
We do not make the information you provide available to the general public. Only serious investors will be able to see your information and contact you. This is for your privacy and protection and to get you the best deal possible.
Selling Your House FAQ
1. Will my house sell and how long will it take?
As with any property offered for sale anywhere, it is impossible to predict if it will sell or how long it might take.
2. How do I know how much my flooded property is worth?
With so much devastation in the area, home values are very hard to determine. That is why we want to get up to five investors to make offers on your house so you can decide which one is best for you.
3. Do you help me negotiate the sales price with the investors?
No, we are not involved in any way with the offer to purchase or the negotiations of price. The investors will contact you directly and it is between you to settle on a price you are comfortable with.
